DebrisappFIELD OPERATIONS
THE FEATURE GUIDE

Purpose-built tools.
Connected operations.

A closer look at how Debrisapp supports the people, records, and decisions behind debris recovery.

01 / FIELD TOOLS

Document the work
at its source.

Truck and equipment certification

Capture truck identification, contractor and subcontractor, driver, certified capacity, certification details, and supporting photos. Capacity calculations support configured truck shapes and fixed-capacity equipment types.

Electronic collection and disposal tickets

Connect collection records to mission contracts, pay items, certified trucks, monitors, load calls, hauled quantities, and disposal information. Record locations, dates, notes, and supporting photos.

Hazard, stump, and assessment workflows

Document field conditions with location, debris classification, photos, and notes. Assessment volume can be entered as an estimate or calculated from dimensions.

Offline-capable capture

Continue supported field workflows without a cellular connection. Saved records queue locally and synchronize when a connection is available, with retry handling designed to avoid duplicate uploads.

Mission setup, initial sign-in, and some lookups or approval requests require connectivity. Available workflows depend on configuration and assigned permissions.

02 / PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Keep setup and
history organized.

Mission and contract administration

Manage applicants, hauling and monitoring contractors, contracts, supplemental task work orders, pay items, rates, budgets, and cubic-yard estimates. Mission and contract statuses control operational availability.

Ticket review and corrections

Review and edit tickets from the website, including mapped ticket records. Numbered revisions retain the actor, source, timestamp, and changed values. Archive records while preserving historical evidence.

Structured records and imports

Manage debris types, truck types, monitor assignments, drivers, certifications, and disposal sites. Import outside-company ticket spreadsheets with validation and source attribution.

Role-based access

Separate administrative accounts from monitor badge access. Assign website access and workforce supervisory controls according to responsibilities and mission assignments.

03 / MAPS & WORK ZONES

See where activity
is happening.

Ticket and disposal-site maps

View mission-scoped records on interactive maps, explore clustered ticket locations, filter available record types, and inspect individual ticket details. Address and GPS workflows help connect records with their locations.

Geofenced monitor work zones

Configure assigned work areas using circles, custom polygons, or administrative boundaries—including counties, Louisiana parishes, cities, and supported communities. Review official boundary geometry before saving.

Exception requests and approvals

Use supervisor-reviewed, time-limited exceptions when work must occur outside an assigned zone. Preserve an audit trail of requests and decisions.

Geofencing checks supported work actions; it is not continuous background tracking. Location permissions, GPS quality, and synchronized zone settings affect enforcement.

04 / WORKFORCE

Time, mileage,
and daily accountability.

Monitor time clock

Record start of work, lunch departure, lunch return, and end of day. Persistent work sessions let monitors return to the time clock after using other field modules.

Lunch confirmation and clock-out certification

Document lunch status explicitly and review a clock-out summary. Work-performed notes and end-of-day certification help make the daily record complete.

Daily reports

Include monitor name and identification, company, contractor and crew, location, weather, visitors, personnel and equipment counts, handheld identification, mileage, work notes, and verified approval details.

Supervisor quality control

Review long shifts, missing clock-outs, overlapping sessions, and repeated offline activity. Handle correction requests and audited time adjustments without allowing field users to overwrite completed records.

Quality-control alerts are available in the supervisor dashboard; they are not advertised here as automatic text messages or push notifications.

05 / REPORTING

Turn activity into
actionable information.

Financial burn rate

Compare contract value, spending, remaining budget, daily burn, and spending trends. Identify tickets that need pricing review instead of silently treating them as zero-cost activity.

Cubic-yard production

Compare picked-up and disposed quantities with contract estimates in a separate production view, keeping volume progress distinct from financial spending.

Truck productivity and load-call analysis

Filter by date, prime contractor, and subcontractor. Choose a maximum load-call percentage and minimum or maximum daily load count. Review the share of recorded calls at or below the chosen threshold and explore truck-day detail.

Time and mileage billing reports

Select dates and individual monitors or combined reports. Use configured hourly pay and mileage reimbursement rates, with overtime calculations based on a Monday–Sunday workweek and time-and-a-half after 40 hours.

Printable documentation

Produce daily reports, time and mileage billing summaries, and ticket hard copies with supporting photo documentation using print/PDF workflows.

DOCUMENTATION & REVIEW

Designed to support a defensible record.

Digital tickets, linked evidence, revision history, and supervisory review help teams organize documentation for project oversight, reconciliation, and reimbursement review.

Debrisapp does not guarantee reimbursement eligibility or represent agency certification. Requirements depend on the applicable program, contract, and current agency guidance. PPDR-specific programs, demolition workflows, and other specialized capabilities should be confirmed before inclusion in a project scope.
